Fly In Breakfast at Pottstown

View of takeoff from Rwy 11

The next day, there was a fly in breakfast at Pottstown. It is a short hop, nice airport, great people and good food. Garret and I couldn't say no. (the girls did) We got up early and headed over on Sunday morning. The weather was crisp and cool with a gusty wind.

In no time at all we were in the pattern for Pottstown. Here are some shots of the arrival.
There it is, under the nuclear tower. Hard to miss.

On the ground. We park and get some breakfast.

Garret and our friend John, one of the organizers.

Nice breakfast.

Breakfast selfie - it's cold out.

After breakfast, we wandered around to check out the other planes which were starting to arrive.

Check out that crazy yoke

I love the paint scheme on this RV. The owner calls it Sticky Stuff because "All my money stuck to it".

As usual, the Velocity got a lot of interest

After a bit, we decided to head out - but first, a low pass.

We decided to wander over our neighborhoods to say hello on the way home.

Garret's neighborhood.
Onward to my hood.
My house is at the bottom to the left of the pool. That's my wife in the street at the top of the drive.

Nancy's view of us at the same moment
