Andy Millin's First Flight

 Congratulations to my friend Andy Millin who had the first flight of his XL FG this weekend.

I had very much wanted to be there and serve as the chase plane for some great air to air video and planned to fly up there on Saturday. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate at all and we got a powerful front between Pennsylvania and Michigan which canceled my trip.

Luckily, Andy had some other good friends, including Jerry Brainard and his wife Linda, who took these shots.

Factory pilot John Abraham did the first flight and then transitioned Andy in his plane.

Andy is now officially a Velocity pilot and owner. This is a day that he will remember for the rest of his life.
