Seat belt trim for the Vanity Panel






These are the seat belt outlet trim pieces I fabricated for the vanity panel. I worried that the seatbelts would abrade the leather trim over time. After cutting the slots for the rear shoulder belts, round the edges, put on 4 layers of duct tape to make a gap for the leather to fit under. Then, do a 3 BID layup, then Saran wrap followed by duct tape to pull it tight around all the corners.




Here is the panel in place. Next step, Velcro and seat belt installation.
