I have been ridiculously busy at work and have only just gotten to get back into flying for this season. I decided to post a few random shots. Wait till you see the ones of flying without the plane.
First, Sean and his friend Jack wanted to go up for a ride after a sleep over. It ended up too rainy to fly, but they agreed to help me wash the plane in exchange for a taxi around the airport and lunch. They did a great job and we had a good time. I tend to take being out among the planes for granted. Jack really liked being able to go through the gate and taxi past the jets.

We had week after week of rain, then a brief break. I decided to get back in the air to do a few patterns and knock the rust off.

I had a week long business trip which took me all over Texas. As we pulled up to our hotel in Dallas, I saw this - an IFly location only a mile from the hotel. This is an indoor skydiving place I have always wanted to try. You step into a 40 foot enclosure with 150 mph wind blowing up and fly as if in free fall. I changed clothes and headed right over. It was great!

Right next to the hotel. It's a sign! |

This is really fun. My cheeks are blown back against my ears. |
