May 2006/ The kit is delivered by a service recommended by Velocity. I am excited to get it into the garage, which I have prepared for the task with new workbenches, lighting, compressor, pull down electricity and many posters from OSH!
First, THANK YOU, for creating this blog! I am 45 years old, with one son in his first year of college and a wife of 20+ years who is putting up with my "exploring the possibility" of building my own plane. I think she is hoping I'll discover it is too difficult and too expensive and give up on the idea. So, I am living vicariously through the builds of others (like yours), for now.
Second, could you have transported your two-week's worth of work yourself or is it just too much to transport in a rental truck?
Finally, how big is your garage? I'm trying to determine how much space I may need to do a build similar to yours.
